Travel is my passion and I'd love to inspire you to budget travel on as little as $30/day, lend a few travel tips, share some real stories, and give useful information on the places I've been; the type of information that I search for before I travel to a place.


You don't have to be rich to see the world! You just need to shift your mindset from the typical western "vacation", adopt a new travel attitude, and you won't believe the people and places you can experience at a fraction of the cost.


Travel is for anyone with a sense of adventure, even a vegetarian woman traveling alone in her 50s. ;)

Everyone has a different style when they travel. Sometimes I go old school and jot down paper notes. Phone numbers, language, directions, all sorts of things. These might run a little bit on the big side, but they're nice and come in a bunch of colors and are hard bound and so they'll stay solid along your travels.

I have searched high and low for a filter that will work well in the collapsible coffee maker I have linked on my site. I think this one will do it! The cloth ones take too long to dry, and others are too small or have pointed bottoms.
